Delicious and Comforting, Highly Recommend!! Tried the Tandoor Plate with chicken and seekh kebab both tender, mildly spiced, and perfectly grilled. The fresh salad with pomegranate seeds added a refreshing touch. The Chicken Kheema Naan was soft and flavourful with a beautifully spiced filling. Paired with Karak Chai, rich and smooth with a lovely hint of cardamom, the perfect match. Finished with warm, melt-in-your-mouth Gulab Jamun , not overly sweet, just right. Every item was mild, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Highly recommend for a comforting, flavourful meal.
Absolutely incredible! Famous Tandoori Halal Food delivers a mouthwatering experience with every dish. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly and prompt. There is a bit of a wait, which is fine! Knowing the food is made FRESH! I came from BC for a business trip to Thunderbay. I've tried everywhere to get delicious food, never got it. Got lamb and rice in Tandoor that was insanely delicious almost 1 year in Canada never had such a good food, feels like Mama cooked..Thank you Tandoor
The meal was of high quality and delicious, with a generous portion size. The presentation of the food was aesthetically pleasing. We had chicken biryani, lamb shank, and shawarma platter. The food was so good, it tasted just like real South Asian food. Finally, we had a cup of karak chai, and it was so refreshing.
As Persians, my wife and I loved the food, we had to ask for a no to mild order and both the tandoor kabab platter and the tandoor lamb shank (with Afghani ghabeli polo) were delicious. There was an unexpected dressing, but we liked it! Restaurant looked peaceful and cozy and has a lot of potential for improvement. We'll be back :)
